"Thank" You letter from Superintendent Suttmeier
(March 2016) -- The District was recently able to announce the great news that the Hudson City School District is no longer identified as a "Focus District" (more details in the Register-Star.)
Although addressed to parents/guardians, this
"Thank You" letter from Superintendent Suttmeier really goes out to everyone. Coming off the "Focus List" is an accomplishment that would not have been possible without the hard work of our faculty, staff, students, parents and community partners!

Academic Intervention Services (AIS)
Due to significant changes in standards from prior years, the benchmarks for provision of Academic Intervention Services (AIS) have been adapted for the 2013-14 School Year to provide AIS to approximately the same percentages of students statewide in 2013-2014 as in the 2012-13 school year. Academic Intervention Services is required for all students who score below proficient (Levels 1 or 2) on NYS English Language Arts and NYS Math assessments.
Because the Hudson City School District receives Title I funding, you have the right to request information regarding the professional qualification of your child’s classroom teacher(s). The documents below outline what information about your child’s teacher(s) you have the right to know, as well as how to obtain that information:
