JLE Celebrates First Little Hawk Friday

This past Friday, JLE celebrated its first Little Hawk Friday of the 2012/13 school year. As part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports program (PBIS) the JLE kids are taught safe, respectful and responsible behavior throughout the building. During the week the teachers and staff try to catch them doing something safe, respectful or responsible and reward them with a Little Hawk Award. By week’s end, all the Little Hawk Awards are put into a drawing and two children from every class have a chance of being the Little Hawk Winners of the Week! Also the class with most Little Hawks gets the special honor of having the Little Hawk banner on their door all week and either lunch or Story time with Mr. Spicer.  This week’s Little Hawk class was Ms. Brown’s class who won a story time with Mr. Spicer and enjoyed. “Mrs. Nelson Is Missing.” Good Luck to all our winners in the coming weeks!
